Long Bio 👉🏼 I am a Senior Control System Engineer at Daikin Comfort Technologies, Inc. ****I am currently involved in various projects related to Daikin thermostat, ventilator control, and Home Energy Management System. Prior to joining Daikin, I was a Research Scientist with the Building Science and Engineering Group (BSEG) at Drexel University. I was an active participant in International Energy Agency (IEA) Energy in Buildings and Communities Programme (EBC) - Annex 81 - Data-Driven Smart Buildings (Annex 81). I offered lectures and lab sessions for AE 551: Building Energy System I at Drexel University. I hold a Bachelor degree in Thermal Energy and Power Engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology, a Master degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, and a PhD degree in Architectural Engineering from Drexel University. My research interest primarily focuses on a range of key areas in building science. These include building energy modeling, the control and simulation of dynamic building energy systems, demand flexibility, occupant behaviors, fault detection and diagnostics, and the applications of AI in buildings.
